Your First Conversation
Starting a chat is straightforward. Here are a few approaches.
From Discover
Browse companions on the Discover page. Tap any companion card, then press Start Chat on their profile. You will be taken directly into a new conversation thread.
From Your Chat List
The Chats tab shows all your active conversations. Tap any thread to continue, or use the + button to start a new chat with one of your companions.
Conversation Starters
Not sure what to say? Each companion comes with suggested conversation starters based on their personality. These appear when you open a new chat and can help break the ice.
Making Conversations Better
- Be natural: Talk like you would to a friend. The AI responds best to genuine, conversational language.
- Share context: Telling your companion about your day, mood, or interests helps them give more relevant responses.
- Ask questions: Companions love engaging in back-and-forth dialogue. Ask about their opinions, stories, or advice.
- Set scenes: Use descriptive language to create scenarios. "Imagine we are sitting in a coffee shop on a rainy day" can shift the entire tone.
